With that said, it's obvious the only reason this company is in business is lack of competition. I am sorry I wasted my time in dealing with them.
Everyone is friendly and professional at Powell and Associates. We listed our house, were notified when prospective buyers were viewing, and received an offer within 10 days. I can't say enough nice things about Don, Candi, and the rest of the team.
It amazes me these people are in business to sell real estate, because my experience with them extremely proves otherwise. Aside from the fact that their website lacks high-resolution photos (this is 2010, right?) and the descriptions are barely that, I called this company to ask a few questions about a house for sale. I was transferred to an agent to ask questions about the house. They were typical questions I would imagine people would want to know about a house, such as what type of heat it has, if it had a porch, when the house was built, and the sq. footage. Without receiving a for sure answer about any of it, I asked to come look at the house. We made an appointment, and it just so happens the house I was interested in is ~300 yards from the real estate office. The real estate agent never showed up, as I waited 35 minutes. Their office was closed, I called the agent's cell phone, who ignored my call the first 3 times, then let it go to voicemail the 4th.
